Ionic Foot Bath

Ionic foot bath

Description: Each 30-minute session is used to help increase your pH levels. Our extracellular pH levels should be 7.4, but our modern diet is usually well below neutral, or 7.0. When our pH is below 7.0, our body doesn’t function properly. As a result, we are susceptible to illness, poor health, and rapid aging. So test your pH regularly, and if it is low, try the ionic foot bath to improve your health.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Lymph drainage of the face and neck

Description: MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) helps speed the healing of wounds, lessen the appearance of scars, reduce wrinkles, and boost the immune system. Lymphatic veins are located on the front part of your body and filter upwards against gravity to empty at the neck. Lymphatic drainage of the breast is extremely important because bras cut off the circulation and store toxins in the breast. MLD can also help chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, bronchitis, tissue rejuvenation, and inflammation. In addition, activating fluid flow in blocked lymph nodes can help detoxify the body to improve health. MLD might also reduce stress, address sleep-related problems, and treat depression.

What to expect: All clothing must be removed for these techniques to work. The entire front of the body needs to be drained since the major lymph veins reside. The process is very light and slow, similar to light touching or scratching. However, this light work empty’s many toxins into your system, and you may be sore. You could even become ill afterward, but this is part of the detoxification process and is not a bad sign but proof that it worked well.

Reflexology

Foot Reflexology

Description:  Reflexology is primarily a relaxation technique. Reflexology can negate the effects of stress while it helps the body relax. Through the relaxation process, the body can deal with the stresses placed on it by daily living and those associated with illness. In addition, reflexology gently nudges the body towards better functioning by improving lymphatic drainage and venous circulation, stimulation to the nerve pathways, and muscle relaxation.

What to expect: Reflexology can be done anywhere on the body, and you do not need to remove clothing. Points on the body are compressed to stimulate other areas of the body to enhance healing. There may be some discomfort due to the pressure; if so, tell the practitioner to reduce the pressure used. The process is very relaxing, and when done, it should feel like the entire body is refreshed.

Reiki

Setchi Reiki, Energy Healing

Description: The word reiki comes from Japan and means Universal Life Energy. Setchi is a Japanese word describing the act of grounding electricity to the earth. Setchi Reiki requires direct skin-to-skin contact to remove excess electrons in our body. This method allows the body to detox on an atomic level improving the body’s own healing process’s speed and effectiveness.

What to expect: You will spend the session lying on a Setchi (grounding) mat. The more direct skin contact to the table, the better the detox, so removing as much clothing as you feel comfortable is recommended. A blanket will be provided to keep you covered and warm. While your body detoxes, the practitioner will use reiki to find and correct energy imbalances. From time to time, the practitioner will touch parts of your body (where you consent) to help energy flow. You will feel exhausted and relaxed at the end of the session. After the session, you should feel a surge of positivity and energy. Your sleep should improve, and your metabolism will increase.
